- Baskets originally belonged to Lena St. Clair, co-founder and co-owner of the Gresham Outlook. Lena's daughter Mildred remembered carrying the basket with remanant of a painted design to the market in Gresham around 1905. Lena gave them to Mildred who gave them to her daughter Patricia Davies Johnston Crabtree. Patricia gave them to her daughter Victoria (Johnston) (Adams) Tanner approximately 2014; Vicki Tanner donated the baskets to GHS in 2024.
