Zimmerman's 12-Mile Store was a gas station/grocery store (and later supermarket) located at 12 Mile Corner in Gresham, at Stark and 223rd. The store originally opened as the 12-Mile Country Store in the late 1800s; Zimmerman leased it in 1938 and bought it in 1943. Zimmerman died in 1959, and his wife Ada Zimmerman ran the store until 1969. The grocery store had a series of owners until 1993, when it closed for good. - Date
