- Description
- Handwritten note on lined paper torn at top (likely from notebook). Titled "Heirs of Talbert Lusted" and lists properties left to his wife Lovica (L.T.) Lusted in Mt. Hood Addition (Gresham) and Clemson Addition (Lents); one quarter-acre lot in Gresham to his son Harry L. Lusted.
- Provenance
- Talbert E. Lusted and Lovica Tuttle Lusted moved to the Gresham area from Omaha in 1875. They were accompanied by other members of the Lusted family, including Talbert's mother and father, Elizabeth and William Lusted, both English immigrants. They were the namesake of the community of Lusted, east of Gresham, where they lived. Talbert Edward Lusted died in 1892 at age 40 or 41 (he was born in 1851), and this document likely dates to the time of his death. Earlier that year, he and Lovica had celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.
