- Found in collections. Mary Crane was the wife of Frederic Crane, a member of the first Multnomah County Fair board. The Oregonian reported in his obituary that he cast the deciding ballot in a vote over where to hold the fair, resulting in it being held in Gresham from 1906 to 1969. The photo was taken by F. Billie Wilcox, a photographer based in Centralia, Washington.
