- Provenance
- The station was built in 1902, part of a rail line transporting lumber to a dam and powerhouse in Cazadero via steam engine. By 1905 it was electrified and regularly running passenger trolleys on an interurban electric trolley line that ran through Portland, Gresham, and out to Bull Run. Service on the line ended in 1930, although streetcars continued running to Gresham until the 1950s. Linnemann Station was burned in 1996 in an act of arson; a replica was built in 2003 on Springwater Corridor Trail.
