- James Maybee (1851-1923) took a homestead in Sandy in 1884 following the death of his first wife in Texas. He married Minnie Cline of Bull Run and Orient in 1888, and they lived in Sandy for many years, taking an active role in civic development there. This photo was likely taken around the time of their marriage.
