- b. Nov. 2, 1875, New York. d. May 30, 1921 of complications from influenza lasting over two years. Son of Donald McMillan and Agnes Patterson, who came to Oregon in 1885. They initially settled near Forest Grove before later moving to Gresham and even later to Portland. Donald McMillan is listed as a Gresham member of the Free Methodist Church in 1900. Andrew lived in the Pleasant Valley area at the foot of Grant Butte, owned a cow named Dobbins that gave birth to two sets of twins one year apart. Son Grant Donald McMillan.
