- Donor unknown The Schedeen Family (Ernest, Wife Annie, and Daughters Ruth and Evelyn) settled in the Hillsview area around 1908. They later had four more children, Roland, Lorna, Marian, and Lester. Roland Schedeen was a local politician, serving in both the Oregon House of Representatives and the Senate, and served two four year terms on the Agricultural Stabilization and Con- servation Commission. Roland's wife Betty Moore was instrumental in the establishment of Mount Hood Community College. The Schedeen Family still own and operate a berry farm in the Cascade foothills and two retail businesses in Gresham and Boring.
