1940 photograph of the Gresham branch of the First National Bank, on Main and Powell.

Found in collections. Kodak duplicate. Note on back says circa 1940, Malcolm Boslay/Bosley - possibly the donor or photographer. The arrival of First National Bank in Gresham in 1933 was cause for a parade, literally - both banks in the town, First State and Bank of Gresham, collapsed during the Great Depression, and there had been no formal banking services available in at least a year. First National Bank leased the building, which was previously the First State Bank building.
